  • Oversaw feasibility and early-stage development for projects totalling $200M in pre-FID spend and $1.5B CAPEX
  • Instrumental in delivering the Quest CCS project, in Canada through a public hearing and to FID in 2012. This project started-up in 2015 and has now injected over 10 million tonnes of CO2. Developed the first accredited MMV program used to qualify low carbon products
  • Decision Executive and Shareholder representative for the Northern Lights (Norway) CCUS project. 
  • Advised governments and intergovernmental agencies globally on CCUS regulation and market frameworks
  • Board member at Climeworks (DAC) and ReCarber (BECCS)

  • Built CCUS, carbon removals, and e-fuels into strategic growth platforms—expertise relevant to development of decarbonisation and CCUS offerings
  • Former Licensing Director at Shell, leading the global commercialization of CCUS, blue hydrogen, and e-fuels technologies to decarbonize refineries and integrated assets

  • Oversaw technology selection, scale-up, and commercial deployment, while advising on HSSE considerations critical to safe and effective project execution
  • Designed and delivered capture technology trials at Technology Centre Mongstad (Norway) and the National Carbon Capture Center (USA), advancing innovation from lab to field
  • Conducted in-depth studies on amine-based capture and contaminant impact analysis, bringing technical rigor to process design and risk mitigation

  • 15+  years in energy and carbon markets. With  a primary focus on the carbon and renewable energy markets.
  • Established two global scale carbon trading businesses for EDF and ENI.
  • Portfolio Manager of french utility EDF’s carbon portfolio and Group Carbon Fund, a EUR300m vehicle for the offtake of Certified Emission Reduction (CERs) credits under the Clean Development Mechanism.
  • Managed the renewable energy trading book and responsible for trading and structuring transactions in renewable energy certificates.
  • Established Eni groups emissions trading  under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme, to originate offtake agreements under the Clean Development Mechanism.
  • Advises on carbon markets and carbon pricing regimes such as the EU ETS and the CBAM.
